Mission & Vision

To give aspiring ministry leaders practical experience and equipping through IDC’s college ministry.

On-Campus Leadership Role & Expectations

The On-Campus Leadership role is designed to give interns experience as ministry leaders and missional catalysts on local college campuses. The role is to be carried out with the assistance and mentorship of IDC’s Director of College Discipleship. OCL’s will also have active participation in the execution and vision of IDC College’s mission and vision.

Position Parameters

• 12 month program | $11,700 gross salary
• Part-time, 15 hours per week

Role Distinctives & Expectations:

• Equipping (4 hours/week)
  • IDC Equip & Mentorship Courses (Rotate Weekly) - 3 hours/week
    • More information on these courses below
  • Mentorship Meetings with Director of College Discipleship - 1 hour/week
• Ministry (11 hours/week)
  • IDCC Sunday nights - 3 hours/week
    • Assists with the vision and execution of Sunday nights - no task is too small
  • On-Campus Ministry - 8 hours/week
    • Evangelism & Discipleship of students on campus
    • Starting, assisting, and multiplying student-led on campus Bible studies
    • Creating and hosting 3 on-campus gathering events per semester
    • Splitting ministry time between 2 assigned campuses

Application & Assessment Process

In this application, you will go through a series of phases:

• Phase 1 - Apply (10-15 minutes questionnaire to collect more detailed employment information)

• Phase 2 - Ministry Assessment (~60-minute questionnaire covering topics related to being a ministry worker)
  • Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you will be sent an email with a link to complete your Ministry Assessment.
• Phase 3 - Local Assessment
  • The local supervisor(s) for this position will review your application, potentially reaching out to conduct an interview.

Upon provisional acceptance, you will register for support-raising training run by Reliant to start your support-based ministry journey.
