The Well Austin Residency Outline

The Well Austin Residency Program's purpose is to continue developing the character, skills, knowledge, and vision necessary for a lifetime of ministry. This is through assisting the various Well ministries to fulfill its vision--making much of Jesus by reproducing disciples who impact the world for God's Glory.

The Well Austin Residency Program functions in a cohort-style learning environment for the two-year program. Typically, participants are recent college graduates who want to be developed and equipped for vocational ministry work.

At The Well, we desire to equip the body of Christ with the skills to push back darkness in Austin, our nation, and internationally. We want to raise up gospel-centered leaders within our church family through an internal and multi-faceted leadership Pipeline, and our Residency Program is one major input to that pipeline. Through this Residency, we want to help brothers and sisters in Christ explore ministry and God's calling on their lives. We desire to give practical experience plus a curriculum for Residents to gain spiritual growth and formation.
